What I’m Reading Now
Into the Beautiful North
by Luis Roberto Urrea
Urrea’s Hummingbird’s Daughter was the best book I read last year. Have heard nothing but how brilliant this follow-up is. The story follows a young woman who seeks to repopulate her Mexican village with the men who’ve abandoned their town for the U.S. Trying not to drool on the pages.
