So here they are, the latest batch of author photos. I’ll have you know it nearly killed me. I don’t have words for how much I dislike having my photo taken, but I’m pretty sure the photographer – the very patient Eric Stone – has a few words, none of which we can print during family hour.

12.04.2011 at 13:22You were not nearly so much of a pain in the ass to take pictures of as you would like to think you were. You should try taking pictures of me sometime. It is far safer behind the camera.

12.04.2011 at 14:48I’m used to looking at pictures from the standpoint of my other career, which means fairly critically. Top one, crouching, is the best. second one is a great pose, but there’s no direct light source, so your face is in shadow. (I wouldn’t, as a rule, recommend taking photos against the disney concert hall, since it is so reflective it creates an intense backlight that slightly silhouette’s the subject.) Third one is pretty good, if cropped.
